Runs awesome.. 105K miles on it. Just rebuilt the entire front end with greasable aftermarket Moog parts and put 4 new gabriel gas shocks all around. Brand new brakes on the front and rear. And all new tires mounted on Centerline Hellcat rims.. Only problem with the truck is the dashboard is cracked and there is a carpet cover on it... looks fine the way it is so I never fixed it. It has a roller tonneau cover and a trailer hitch. My daily commute demands a honda 30mpg'er and not a big truck like this.. It's a hunting machine..

I have a 2000 RamW/5 on the floor and 318 eng and 65,000 miles and the only thing that's wrong with it is the dash is all cracked on top! Had to install a Dash Mat!

yeah the manual trany's were fine, it was just the automatic's that were a pain. even the dodge dealer ship said since they went with the new style trany its droped there trany work town 75%. if i was to ever get one again i would just go put a dana tranny in and be done with it. never did have any prob with dash cracking on mine, but two guys a run coyote dogs with have had that happen in theres. must be the plastic. anyways
enough rambling.

No...but they are very good motors weve had 2 318's one go 267k with very minor problems and dads got his one now with 145k and still running like the day it was driven off the lot. I dare u to find a more reliable motor.

this truck runs fine. I know the reputation of dodge trucks but all american vehicles have their fare share of issues. I use this truck almost every day and drive it 110 miles round trip to my property where I am building a house. If I thought it would die believe me I wouldn't take the risk! I just got a small honda for commuting to work and need a much heavier duty truck like a mason dump.
