Nice trophy Bible_Man! I had a chance at a bearded hen 2 years ago, but I got busted when she walked past me at 5-7yds and another hen behind her putted. She left wing marks in the dust when she flew...looked sorta like hand prints.

This was the third one that I've seen in the wild. The first one was with a gobbler that I killed a few years ago, and the second never got closer than 100 yards. I was more than thrilled to take her, especially after the tough luck I had experienced throughout the season! I said 15.4 pounds, but for scoring's sake, she was 15 lb, 7oz.
