I checked the camera today, for the place I'll be hunting Saturday. No turkey pics. I found some fresh scratching just outside the camera angle, but not much... I hope it was a solitary gobbler. He's been coming in by himself in some of the other pics. I'm going out to roost one Friday evening. Wish me luck.

Good luck Sat. Arjuna and welcome aboard HONKERS and zmschillin. Sounds like you two will help the team a lot. Looks like we have a great team. I believe many longbeards will fall to the JellyHeads this Spring. The birds aren't gobbling down here where I am, but this warm weather should heat them up. I went out this afternoon and saw four fly up to roost. I know one was a hen, but don't know about the other three. I didn't want to hang around and spook them. One looked like a pretty large bird, so I'm hoping it was one of the two longbeards I have already seen. Don't know for sure because they just aren't gobbling for some reason. Season opens next Friday. Surely they'll be gobbling some by then, I hope. If not, I'll just have to bag a silent bird.;)

The snow is still on the ground here but my brother(cay4redneck) got a pic of a bearded hen back in are woods yesterday. And a buck with the antlers still on.

Hick,
Nice pics. The deer down here still have thier antlers, too. It's usually during turkey season that we'll start to find them.

No pics for the last couple of days...I moved my camera to a different spot on the field and haven't had any shots yet....the turkeys have moved to the next property. That's probably good, in that they'll be back in a couple of days and then hang around. Hope they are there Saturday!
