Well my season opens in two weeks and it is snowing, in Louisiana! As I sit here, at 9:00 p.m., it is still snowing. It has been snowing since 10:00 this morning. Doesn't seem much like turkey weather. This is a rarity for down here. Going out Sunday morning and listen for gobbling. Supposed to be in the 60's by then. Turkeys aren't gobbling very much now. Hopefully next weeks warm weather will wake them up. They'll start cranking up any day now, if we can just get rid of this winter weather. I guess the groundhog was right this year.

I feel your pain, super. I'm just 7 miles above the FL line and it is supposed to be 30 tonight....Wow.

Mine opens in like a mounth and there is a foot of snow on the ground.

Are you guys ready to go with a team name yet? Looks like everyone that is checking in has decided on Jelly Heads.

Super Strutter - Your right about that groundhog. I've made a vow to terminate everyone of those little suckers I see this spring. They have really given me the winter blues this year.

The birds are strutting up here in Norhern Indiana with snow on the ground. I saw 4 "full fans'' behind a group of about 20 hens going down the interstate the other day. Com'on April 25th!

Well, went this morning for that youth hunt. It snowed on us. It never snows down here! Anyway, just wind. We hunted until 10:00 and came home.

I'm headed out in the morning to take another kid before getting ready to preach. I'll keep you posted.

Sounds like Jellyheads wins the name game.

JellyHeads it is then. I'm probably one of the oldest, if not the oldest, on our team,and I say it's Jelly Heads!!:DArjuna, the weather will get better, I promise. Hick, how in the hell can ya'll stand all that snow? I would be going crazy, but I guess ya'll are used to it. Let's get ready to slay those longbeards. Man, I'm really getting fired up!!

Wow, super...you're like 43 years old....dude. :D You might be the only one on our team born before the NWTF!

Anyway, I hate that we have two guys that haven't signed on yet. How long do we give them?

Thanks for the encouragement, guys. I'll give you a report about tomorrow morning. The only drawback is we only have 1 hour to hunt....then I've got to get back to get the fam ready for church.

I just e-mailed sparrowhawk and jhoffman to see if they would be with us. Both have been off the site for over a month.
