Official Team 10 ~"Turkey Hun10 Fools"!

Welcome Ron, nice to see anotherfellow cheesehead. That makes three of us!
Well guys, I just saw we are in last place. Every other team has at least shot one bird. We need someone to break the ice. Then watch out, last to first.........no pressure guys.
I start Wednesday, but I believe we'll have a couple by then.

Ok guys one of us needs to score soon. Were the only team without a bird and were in dead last. Doesnt mean we still can't get it done. Ill be going tommorow and Sunday, with Sunday looking the best cause of the weather.

I just got back from the morning hunt, the rain held off and the weather was beautiful....i had 5 or 6 gobblers up in my cut bean field but we were set up in a valley next to it so they didnt come down. Ill be setting up some decoys for the mid-morninghunt in the field and making a homemade blind, hopefully my luck will change!

Im guessing luck pretty much stayed the same???
I went out this morning and we had three going nutsoff the roost, but they flew on down and we believe they locked up the real deal and did not want nothing to do with our pretty calls!
They shut right up short after daylight and we stuck it out for a few more hours and called it a day!!
I will be back out there next week, I am still going with MdDave from on here trying to get him to put his first one on the ground! So I am trying fellows! Good Luck all!!!!!!!!!

Well my first season pretty much sucked. I can honestly say that was the worst five days of hunting, I've ever had in the turkey woods. There were a few gobblers around, but I could not call them off their hens.
I could havetaken a legal bird,Saturday and Sunday. Both days I had bearded hens in easy range, but decided not to shoot them. We have two of them running around, and I had both of them in front of the blind Sunday @ 5:30p.m.Idecided I was going to eat my first tag, as season closed at sunset that evening.
Next time I go out will be May 14, hopefully by then most of the hens will be sitting!
Good Luck to all that are still hunting.
