Here in Mass the season opens April 28 and runs until May 24. This is my second season out and I'm hopefull that I'll do pretty good. I'm hooked up with a seasoned turkey hunter, that fills all of his tags in the four states that he hunts each year.

My season starts in 2 weeks so hopefully I can have a bird down and get us some points on the board...

So, what is everyone's plans of going after those Toms? Anyone using a bow or is everyone just going with a shotgun? I'm planning on getting one with my shotgun first, then if I accomplish that going after my second with my bow. Anyone doing the same?

I will be taking my two grandsons hunting on NH Youth Weekend the end of April. The weekend before the regular season opens.
Always a great time. They are waiting for their first bird but there always seem to be excitement. My 2 sons split up with the 2 boys and I am "Captain Video" for the morning. We have some good footage of turkeys in the field and should have tagged at least one bird - but that's a story for another day.
Hopefully we can get this season started off in the right direction.
