hahahahaha...well guys... I'm sorry but my season isn't looking good! I may get to hunt one weekend...MABE...but the rest of my season is Monday-Friday and i have school every mourning!

well guys season opens in the mornin... saw 3 gobblers this evening out of a flock of 21 so hopefully the thunder chickens will have some points on the board after tommorow...

These will be the birds that I will be shotgun hunting. My bowhunting birds are bigger:Dbut due to houses I decided not to piss off anyone and keep quiet (I'm more than legally far enough).

well guys i got a good two year old this mornin...!!! I had to crawl the last thirty yards but boy did it pay off! I cant get any of the pics to up load though...he weighed 21 pounds had an 11in. beard and 1in. spurs

Heput your teamon the board. Now a few pages back I posted your team roster - I will update this with poins for you as I have time - to keep you informed. I am trying this for all teams.
Oh the honorary member - well I dropped out as I needed shoulder surgery real bad - canceled four states but do think I might get the last 2! Or maybe not!
So I help with this contest as from past contests I have met many fine folks such as all of you!

well for the past 2 days I have been on em heavy but just couldn't seal the deal...Had two young birds come in this mornin before school and strut around but i just let emm walk....But as I was walkin to the truck to head to the schoolhouse i see two nice ones strutin,man did i get fired up and disapointed at the same time! lol

Has anybody not had any luck yet?

I had about 25 birds all around me 2 days ago, Couldn't get a descent bow shot on a gobbler though

25 birds? Holy cow! I wish I was hunting where you are.

Our season doesnt start for another 2 weeks, but I'm gonna start scouting hard once the weather cooperates. My birthday was on wednesday and the girlfriend got me an undertaker choke, so I am going to go pattern that this weekend. I'm getting pumped tho!

Yeah, but its mostly hens, 2 flocks came together in one field... It ws ugly, I'll get a picture next time.

well i damn near drowned this morning, but it was better than doin nothing... i have been on three different birds the past 2 days and i just can't seem to make it happen i think they still have the ladies with em...when this rain lets up im gonna get back out there.... is anybody else getting wet? When can you start hunting with a gun kingv?

I went out scouting this weekend. The first place I went to I heard about 20 gobbles bright and early, but they stopped by 7am. Today, I went to a different place and scouted, and patterned the shotgun. I found several tracks and I am going to go listen tuesday morning. Good luck to everyone who starts this week!

Well today I didn't get to hunt..and tomorrow doesn't look good either..the Back water has flooded my neighbors woods so now I can't hunt it!

I got another one this morning around 7:15....He is an old east Tennessee mountain turkey! only weighed 18 pounds had 1 1/8 in spurs and not a single sign of a beard!!!

Me and a friendwere going after two different birds and he was about 50 yards in front of them, but niether one of us had a clue he was in the world... he never gobbled or anything we just kinda strolled up on him as we were making our way to the other birds...He made us at about fifty yards and spooked so I took the shot and the ole benelli came thru again!
