I have noticed several recurves offered on ebay pictured unstrung with the string seemingly tight between the tips on the reverse side of the bow. Is this a desirable way to store an unstrung recurve? Also, am I correct that the best way to store a strung recurve or longbow for the short term is to hang it horizontally by the string on two pegs?
