I just bought a pair of 8x42 and I really like them. I have a little trouble holding the 10 power still and feel that 8 power is enough and don't seem to notice any wobble. I chose the 8x42 over the 8x32 because of the extra light it transmits at dawn and dusk (although I would have liked the less weight of the 8x32). The 10x42 would have the same problem of less light transmitted in low light situations. 10x50 would be better in low light, but they are heavier yet.

I am leaving tomorrow morning to use them in Colorado on a blackpowder elk hunt. Good hunting!
