Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've gathered from friends who have HMR's, you can pretty much consider anything out to 100yds to be on target. the rise and drop are so insignificant that it shouldn't make a different in whether or not the critter is dead. Also, from what I've been told, you might want to stick with the 20 grain hollow point HMR's over the ballistic tips... at least when it comes to fox and such.
