Default RE: Question about Copper John Site.

I've used Copper John sights for over 3 years and never had one I'd consider weak.

Matter of factly, I drop tested mine last season from about 25 + feet. It was unintentional, ( I dozed off on an evening hunt ) and watched it slam into the ground under my climber, along with my bow. [8D][&:]

The sight was unharmed. I sighted the bow in, (since the rest didn't fair all that well), and harvested a very nice buck the following week. Same sight.

I've used the Pro and the hunter models that Copper John offers, along with the afterburner light. No issues with either product. As far as the pin gaurd, (AKA Dead Nuts Cup), it's made to protect the pin fiber from being snagged on brush, sticks and the like, not to protect otherwise weak pins as suggested.
