the ultra slug hunters do have a bull barrel on them. as far as the weight, there is a 2 lb weight in the rear stock that comes out and does not give any more recoil and does not affect the accuracy of the gun. i have one friend that bought the tracker 2 in 20ga and had it drilled and tapped and put a scop on it who shoots deer at 160+ yards. my other friend bought the ultra slug hunter in 20ga and shoots deer at 160+ yards. the difference between the tracker2 and the ultra slug hunter is that thetracker 2 doesnot have a beavy barrel, comes with rifles sights and does not have the weight in the stock. the ultra slug hunter comes with the weight and a scope rail. if you are looking for a good sabot slug, shoot lightfields. they are awsome. good luck on finding a gun and take a good look at the 20ga. you dont reallty need a 12.
