I would assume you have checked all your accessory screws to make sure they are tight, including the screws on the cam.


I would definitely change the cable slide to a teflon type, Bomar worked well for me before I put the Muzzy ZE on. You might also check to make sure your cable slide didn't work loose. Unlikely but I have seen it happen.

I would also check the cam to make sure it isn't leaning. Mine would just nick the very end of the cam. It really wasn't noticeable though until I saw a spot of paint gone on the cam.

It would be wise to look for a subtle crack in your limbs too. If there are any they usually appear near the intersection of the cut outs for the idler wheel and cam. You might even need a magnifying glass to see them. I have had it happen to my Mav twice. I noticed my bow seemed louder than normal so I got out the magnifying glass and went over it. Darton was very good to me and replaced everything but the string with no charge.
