clattin, I have a 444 outfitter. This is the gun you are looking at. I also used a 444s for many years and sold it to my brother inlaw who still uses it. One word of caution if you buy the 444 with the short ported barrel wear ear plugs.My favorite load consist of the Hornady 265 gr flat nose and IMR 4198 powder.This load works well on deer dropping most of them were they stood.
