DuckHunter, I think he's asking about the bolt on replacement pad that goes on the stock of your gun. I'f I didn't read into your post too much, I think you are speaking about a recoil pad that you wear like a vest, but only on the side that the butt of the gun rests against your shoulder. Right?

The Simms Limbsaver recoil pad that replaces the butt plate on your gun I have tried... just this week on a friends X2. The 3 1/2" shells were no longer uncomfortable patterning off the bench and I will have one on my gun before the season opens.
