thanks for the replys. i thought the aimpint to be a good optic. they cost about $350 which is about the same as the burris. a friend of mine has the aimpoint with the 2x lens on his .44 and it appeared to me to be on the high end of red dots. i don't plan on taking any long shots. i'll be timber hunting 99% of the time. i have a S&W red dot on my SRH .454. i just wanted a better optic on this better pistol.
