This is why we have choices . I know myself I could not shoot a parker ultralite 31 or mathews sq2 worth a hill of beans , but some pepole love those models . Bowtech makes quality bows from quality materials that are very effeciant and accurate . One pound makes alot of diferance in a bow , but we carry climbing tree stands in the woods with us all the time and they can weigh between 10 and 30 lbs so if Im going to save on weight Id rather do it by carrying in a lighter [ slightly less confortable ] stand and a heaver [ more accurate for me ] bow .
