bowgobble, I tried shooting one pin last night for the first time, man what a difference!!!! I have a very old Black Bear, Bear bow which even though it has a 65 pound pull is far from being fast. I found that by aiming a little low at 10-15 yards I was hitting right on the money, at twenty I held the pin right on the mark and hit right on the mark, and of course I went high over twenty.
I was amazed at how easy it was to adjust to one pin, I also came on target far quicker because I wasn't double/triple checking which pin I was using. I do not feel shooting a single pin is totally dependent upon how fast your bow is, but more on practicing at different distances and finding how high or low you need to hold to hit where you want. I totally concur that the faster your bow the easier shooting single pin would be.
