AMERISTEP PENTHOUSE BLIND
I bought an ameristep penthouse blind to try out this season.
I've almost always hunted from a climber, or a box stand on a club.
Though the climbers do have their advantages, they also have a disadvantsge, like movement the slightes move when sighting on a deer
can result in the deer spoting you or ( and yes, this does happen cause it happened to me last season) a deer seeing you and at the moment you shoot it drops to it's haunches ducking the shot. Unfortunatley I have to hunt public land this season cause of school, and work scheduals, which would make it unreasonable( at least to my wife) to pay $400 or more for a club membership. I've been checking out a couple of WMAs here near Warner Robbins, GA, and one near Macon, GA. The OAKYWOODS WMA looks pretty good. Anyways, I was just curious as to using a pop up blind on public land. If anybody that lives near PERRY, or Warner Robbins wants to get together this season,
and hunt, or bend the ear e-mail me.
