Whatever shoots better to you. I like carbons for pigs. Just make sure if you do switch you dont go to light weight. yea, it may be faster, but your loosing energy down range which messes with penetration. Ive always used gold tips with cut up front heads. Every single shot(except one) ive made on an animal went through. The one exception went in the hind quarter on the right, blew through the hip bone and all the insides, and blew through the front left shoulder. Most of the arrow was out except for about 3 inches.
