RE: Best NEF/H&R accuracy
I have eight Handi rifles. They all shoot pretty good with the right ammo. First off the Handi rifles will Almost always shoot much better with the lightest bullets for caliber. The 223 will shoot best with 40- 45 grain bullets. Regardless of caliber the lighter bullets will nearly always do their best with light bullets. An O ring between the stock and barrel on the forend hanger stud to sort of free float the barrel will almost always improve accuracy. With it chosen loads ALL of my handi rifles will shoot 1 1/2 or better. Thet take some tinkering around sometimes but seldom will you find one that won't deliever pretty good hunting accuracy. For 200 dollars or a little more, they are all I could ever expect. It will bring home dinner if you do your part.
