I use a Balcolm sling, that way I can keep my bow on my lap but have my hands free and not have to worry about the bow falling. My hands don't get cold holding the bow or tired. It is very easy to unhook, less than a second, fully closed, quicker if it's open. If you stand up and have a long wait coming, let the sling hold it. gotta long walk to stand, let the sling hold it. Best 20 dollars i ever spent
