Default RE: Anyone use a Red Dot scope on their Turkey Gun?

I got one this year based on all the information from this site. Bottom line, I love it. I've hade it out in the pouring rain, darkest morning, and the brighest south Florida sunshine and could see the dot just fine.

I sighted it in inside my garage and feild tested it on a tree in the feild and loved the results.

Now, so far the only thing that I don't like is that when you buy the scope you have to buy a bracket for it seperately. Make sure that the scope, bracket fit each other and they fit your model gun at the time of purchase. Two trips and 4 sales persons and I still got the wrong bracket for mine. I can't screw down the front support for my scope so I hade to apply HeMan strength to the rear screw for now. Will change the set up later.

Also look to make sure that the one you settle on is water and fog proof.

Hope it helps. I sure like mine.
