Default Anyone use a Red Dot sight?

Hello! I am new to bow-hunting and to this forum.

I am thinking of trying a Red Dot type sight and would like to know if anyone uses or has used one. What are your thoughts? Does the sight reveal bow torque and other mis-alignments or is it much like using a fiber-optic sight with no peep-site: a single aiming point that relies on a consistent anchor?

What about the BSA 30 MM Red Dot sights? They are cheap enough.

Is constant battery replacement a problem?

Thanks for your help!
