I can see how it can offend some people because they take it the wrong way. I dont display it because i'm from the south i live in western PA and always have i display it for the reason that i like it and to me stands for being a redneck which i definetly am i have a giant decal on the back window of my truck that says redneck. I understood why she wanted me to not display it but it started pissing me off when she tryed to tell me i couldnt just cover it while i was on school property she started making her own rules up and that just aint right thats why shes gunna be regreting knowing me on the last day up there
I agree with you being upset at that lady 100%. As far as I know, she had to right at all to tell you to remove it. Althought the laws may differ in PA, I still don't think she could legal force you to remove them.
If you want the flag, fine. If you can identify with it, great. It's just that in general, most people (that aren't rednecks mostly) find it somewhat - to very offending. Personally I wouldn't want anything to do with that, but that's why I choose not to have a confederate flag. The beauty of freedom in America.
I'm not trying to pick on you in any way at all, just so you know that.
