RE: Compound vs. Traditional in PA
I agree cut rifle season by a week, drop Oct MZ season, slash doe permits so forth so on. But this thread is dealing with archery gear not rifle hunting "Compound vs. Traditional" is the title.
Pa you may recall in my post where I submitted "...in WMUs where needed..." I NEVER made a flat statewide statement.
* Now that the reference to a young lady being shot in her driveway has been made by BTBOWHUNTER for no apparent reason other than to start an argument as it has no bearing on this thread at all . I'll add my .02.
This could have happened just as easily to anyone now that the Saftey zone for archers has been cut. I know I've shot at my well constructed backstop an had a shaft careen off the top or side when shooting from an unknown distance. I also know I've shot at deer with both my longbow and my "tricked out' compound bow an had the shaft sent off at 90 degrees after hitting a small unseen twig. Let us think how easily this could happen when the archer is shooting near kids playing in a yard, swingset, pool, etc. To make a statementr of OH that won't happen is utter foolishness.
