Default RE: confederate flag

The south lost, get over it and stop trying to be "cool" by being a rebel...its stupid. And besides, this is a hunting forum, not school

While I agree, to an extent, shut up. That has nothing to do with this thread, nor does it help in any conceivable way.

You obviously aren't from the South, and don't need to judge the ones that are, because here it isn't a matter of being a rebel-it's a matter of heritage. You seem to be the only one with a problem-seems to me that your the one that needs to "get over it".

Plus, you haven't made a comment on any other thread that wasn't hunting related on how bad it was to do so....take a chill pill please.
Why do you need confederate flags with "rebel" imprinted on them to remember or honor, whatever you consider it, your heritage? seems to me that there would better, more "honorable" ways of doing that, and it wont offend anyone at the local public school.

If I were black, I could easily see it as offending. Every time I see a big ol' confederate flag on the back of a pick-up I always think of a "******(black) hatin' red neck" I don't necessarly think that is the message trying to be sent, but it is the impression some people get. I can't understand why anyone would be "ok" with giving that kind of a message.
