I can only comment on the Sako 75, so I may not be of any help to you. I've got two and one of them happens to be a 7mm mag with walnut stock and blued metal. It's an outstanding rifle in my opinion. It's very accurate and it fits me really well due to the excellent stock design. Fit and finish is first rate.

BTW, if you decide on the Sako, you should give the Conetrol scope mounts a look. I've got a set on the 7mm mag and they compliment the rifle really nicely. They're rock solid too. I prefer them to the Sako Optilocks which I have on my other 75.
