I asked a lot of people about this gun. Everyone said the recoil would kill me. I went against recomendations and bought it anyway. The recoil is nothing. I shot a 270 the same day and it kicked more than the 30-378. If you haven't looked at this gun, you should consider it. Yes ammo is expensive but I plan on reloading. Shots number 8,9,10 was at 200 yards with in 1.5". I mounted a VXIII boone and crockett 4.5-14. This gun is dead accurate with factory ammo right out of the box. I had a brake on it and shot it without. Without it kicks, unbearable, heck no. Great Gun!!!!!!
