RE: Whats your take on brace height and forgivness?
I agree with straightarrow about hitting your coat with a short brace height bow. Here in the north bow season is usually pretty chilly and a coat or coveralls is usually needed. I shoot an older Mathews Ulta Max and it has about a 6 1/2" BH. I wear an arm guard to compress my cloths to eliminate the possibility of hitting my coat sleeve. Shooting in warm weather at the range and or 3D good form and mechanics usually will make a short brace height a non issue. All in all I would get a long brace height on my next bow.
