2 years ago I I took about 3 months deciding on what kind of scope to mount on my turkey gun, I didn't really need one, but wanted one, I personally feel more comfortable aiming through a crosshair than a bead. After a lot of scope examination and pricing and just plain thinking, I went with the Leupold 1.4x shotgun scope on a Millet mount for my 11-87. My reasoning? I wasen't sold on the idea of an electronic scope holding the recoil of a 12 guage turkey round, I do alot of patterning every year, just because I like too. I figured if I'm spending over $200 on a turkey scope that I plan on using forever, I'd rather spend it on something that will last forever. I know that Leupold will hold up to just about anything, and if it doesn't, I know who will fix it....for free!!
