Default Another "which one" - .270 or .300 wsm

I am lucky to own two nice rifles - Browning A-Bolt .270 win, and Winchester 70 Ulti Shadow .300 wsm. Both stainless with plastic stock and both in equally great shape.

I have decided that I need only one of these calibers, and learn it well. Their purposes are not different enough.

I am going to invest in a custom stock to fit my shoulder and grip. I have tried one and it is amazing. Problem is I don't know which one to sell and which to put the new stock on. 300 wsm is fun but does kick and might still be a novelty. .270 is classic and a good shooter. I have taken antelope, deer, and elk with both, at 40 to 340 yards, but the results are no different. Same size holes, same dead animal. All my hunting is western spot and stalk.

For the money I need to invest, I want to be sure to put it into the best rifle that I can own and then pass down.

Do you think .300 wsm is here to stay? Conversely, do you think .270 win is going to become a relic or remain a classic?

Bottom line, which would you invest in?

Sorry if you're tired of comparison threads. I like reading your comments.
