I've been to ak. three times in the last 6 years all unguided got a58" moose a nice carbou and ablack bear. I'll trade my hot spot for yours in ill. I will do everything on my own as i've done in the rockies ;canada[preguide laws]and alaska.When someone tells me they want a moose; I ask how bad? I'ts alot of work but well worth it to me. the carbou hunt i flew to fairbanks rented a suv and drove north of the artic circle cost me and a buddy about $1900 each for 2 weeks.The moose was $900 airline,$550 float plane and$550 for lin. and tags and$400 for transportingyour moose out of the bush and shiping antlers home. Thats $2500 each for averything. I reckamend 3 or 4 good buddies.
