Is this video from a few years ago? I remember an identical situation to the one you described, but for some reason I'm thinking it was Michael Wadell that took the shot. I can't say for sure. I watch so many hunting videos that I lose track. Either way, my first thought was the same as your's. I couldn't believe he took the shot.

I have to disagree with Adams, though. I think these shows (in general) are great for hunting. People that will watch them (again, in general) are outdoors types that may be swayed into trying it out as a result of the excitement they see on the screen. Hunting shows are mostly good. You just have to take the bad with the good. There will always be both.
