Default RE: Vertically string of shoots

I shoot a T/C Black Diamond XR with a 1.5 X 4.5 power scope. This was done off a bench rest at 100 yards. I have since upped the charge to 85 grains of Triple Se7en of Goex 3f and the accuracy is exceptional. Also I do not have to swab when I shoot these. They are a slip fit conical like the powerbelt. All I did was draw a cross in three places on a piece of pine board and put that out at the 100 yard range... I wanted to test some different powders with the No Excuses Conicals. Although Triple Se7en did the best job, I still shoot Goex 3f.

I see no reason why if you practiced with these they would not be good out to 150 yards. With that load of lead, there is a lot of down range energy.

One thing to remember, your rifle is new, but there is no reason why you should have to stand on your range rod to seat a projectile. When the sabot is that tight, it is time to change sabots..... Many times the sabots that come with bullets are not a good fit for your rifle. I found the Thompson Center Mag Express to fit best in my Black Diamond ....

good luck..
