IN GENERAL, do mountain turkeys usually roost in the same trees (area)?
I hunt the mountains of WV, and we have turkeys in through there on occassion. Do mountain turkeys usually keep in the same area and roost in the same trees like turkeys in woodlots do? I realize they surely don't all the time, but AS A GENERAL RULE, do they move completely through an area an onto the next one or stick around and likely roost in the same tree from one night to the next, assuming there is no better food in one place than another and they weren't spooked?
