Sometimes a change is necessary. I personelly asked my VET yesterday, He advises change in food to owners all the time when it is medically necessary,Overweight,allergies,Lifestages ect....)

We are talking about over weight dog beeing fed high energy sporting dog mix. By switching(ONE TIME) to better formulated food his dog will be healthier in the long run.

This is just common sense.
