For the last two year we have bow hunted bears. You MUST keep scent down. In the spring bugs are bad! The fall is a harder time to find a bear. We used 100g muzzy and they worked fine as for pounds My buddy shot his with 55# pounds. also feeze the meat first to kill any worms. The skining is easy except the aound the nose and the feet. Fall bears are FAT you need to cut as much off and the cook it long to get rid of the fat. In two weeks I'am going on a Bear/deer bow hunting. I hope to get both.
