Default RE: Mountain lions, in PA or NY?

I stated in an earlier post that I will be contacting my brother's professor and my brother to go on record as being part of a reintroductijon program that did involve coyotes.

One thing I don't understand is that the DEC had to have know about the existing coyote population and why they would think introducing more coyotes would be any more help with the deer population.

This is a site I visited concerning coyotes in NY. There is some interesting info there.

Another thing I wanted to mention is the DECs efforts to introduce wolves to the Adirondacks. So that just raises more questions - this is well documented and info can be found by doing a simple search for wolved and adirondack on google.

This is a picture that i got from the taxadermist that does work for me. It is of a coyote that looks more like a wolf to me but then eastern coyotes are supposed to be part wolf and they are definately biger than a western coyote. This one is extreamly large though. 115 lbs.
