before nikon and realtree hooked up and started making the HD cammo scopes called Monarch they made a turkey scope in Mossy Oak Break Up. I have seen several still around NIB at local gun shows and on some web pages. The scope is a varible from 1.5-4 I believe and has the special turkey recticle. Hope you can find one if that's what you decide on. Scopes are a great tool but you don't have to have one. Just like you don't have to have camo, extended chokes, tru-glo sights, etc... it just helps. Telling someone they should stay home just because they wish to use a scope for shooting slugs which can be shot at 1.5" - 2" groups at 100 yards with the right sabot/round, gun, scope, etcc.. is silly. Each person has to choose what's right for them as long as it's legal...
