RE: Camo Scopes
Bob,
No offense taken to your statements. My personal limits are 40 yards, 3 inch shells and nonported choke tubes. I can already tell a difference in how my patterns are centered on the patterning board when using the scope. I thought Mike's statement that you should stay home if you need a scope on a slug gun was a little harsh. Everyone has to set there personal limits on their equipment and shots they are willing to take. I passed a 5 yard shot on an 8 pointer in the velvet Saturday because the angle wasn't quite right for my bow. He finally looked up and saw me and the gig was over but it was one of the most exciting bow hunts I have every had. Two eight point bucks in the velvet and a doe all within 15 yds for about 5 minutes. I'm still curious as to what model Tru-Glo most people are using and do you have trouble with them staying on the rib?
Good Luck Turkey Hunting,
Doug
