Learn to shoot without sights and leave them behind forever. There are a lot of great books out there on different shooting styles such as instinctive, gap shooting, etc. I picked up a book from G. Fred Asbell on instintive shooting when I started and it was a great help.

I know people that shoot a recurve with a release and sights but I have to ask WHY! Is there no humanity left in this world!
