I tried an afternoon hunt since the mornings have been a bust. The car you saw was back in the afternoon. He hunted the same stand morning and night. The only thing that happened to me by hunting the ground and afternoon was I got a heck of alot more skeeter bites!! I'll remember to put bug spray on my gloves next time.

Thinking of going out Wed afternoon. At this point, i'm hoping the corn will be cut by the time the rut kicks in I did see at least 5 trucks around McKay farm Saturday. Maybe thats a better spot. Of course, i didnt see anyone dragging any deer out. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
