Depends on what kind of experience your looking for. That wilderness area isn't for the out of shape or the faint of heart. I have spent alot of time backpacking in the Bitterroots and I can tell you first hand it is extremely rugged with very dense timber. If your looking for a wilderness experience and your in really good physical shape then you won't find better in the lower 48. If your more interested in getting a big buck and a solid more traditional deer hunting experience go out by Orofino or Kooskia.
