Two years ago i planted 5 sawthooth oak trees . I did not plant the trees together, but spread them out. Three were planted in about a 200 yard area and the other 2 were planted about 300 yards away within a 100 yards of each other. My question is , do these trees need to be planted next to each other for them to produce acorns? Thanks.
