Default RE: Getting the most fps

The more you add to the string the more it will slow you down if speed is a concern. Keep things simple. I would work more on yourself than I would the bow. Make yourself into a shooting machine and you will make kills with anything you put into your hands. I would lay money on the fact that I can take your setup and kill an elk with it. I have NEVER harvested and elk over 20 yards away. Or any other game as a matter of fact. Bowhunting is a close range game. There was some great advice given to you. Start at a short distance and get to where you can hit in there 100% of the time. When you can increase at 5 yard increments until you can hit each one 100% of the time. When it comes to clean kills percentage should be no where in the equation. You should be 100% sure that the animal is going to go down as quickly as possible. I have taken many animals and archery titles. My favorite yardage to practice at is 5 yards. I work on me more than anything. Remember keep it simple.
