RE: Getting the most fps
I would use it for a year or two and try to learn what you do and don't like about it and other bows. Then in a few years go out and buy what you realy want. As far as trying to make it faster my question is why? The bow is what it is trying to make it into something its not is useless. I'll second it will work great for deer and elk too, my father owned one for a few years while he was trying his hand with bowhunting, he didnt kill anything because he never took bowhunting serious enough. But it would have preformed great had he done his part. Remember too that a bow is only as good as the arrow/broadhead combo. That is what kills a animal, fast or slow it will do its job as long as you have a good arrow and a excellent broadhead.
