It was on clearance for $207, then I had a $20 off coupon and there is a $50 Winchester rebate on the gun. I know it is a REAL good price but orginally I was wanting a Knight Disc Elite. Yes I feel I setteled but the price seemed right & I had very limited funds. Not sure on the whole CVA brand but maybe Winchester did there homework on this one. Also http://www.chuckhawks.com/index2h.muzzleloader.htm had a poor review on the Optima. Now I understand that you can find both good & bad reviews on just about everything that can be purchased these days.
