Take the stock off ( 1 straight screw)
Un screw the barrel retainer ( 1 allen screw)
remove barrel ,may need to twist a little.
Should take 2 min max and 2 min to re install ( if you have the tools handy )
You will have to get a stock for a heavy barrel if you go that way.
