I am about to buy a ruger 10/22 22lr. The WalMart near me has one for under $200. I was looking at all the aftermarket accessories for it, and saw that I could get a .17HMR barrell for it. I need to know how difficult it is to change the barrell out. Is this something I could do myself, or would I need to take it to a gunsmith. I don't have any experience doing this sort of thing, so, anything too complicated would be over my head. Also, if I wanted to put it in a different stock, what would be involved in that also? The stock I saw said that it was drop in, but that doesn't mean much to me.
